Conomy Legal is a boutique litigation firm, started by me: Justin Conomy.

I am an experienced advocate and litigator, having been a commercial barrister at the Sydney Bar for 15 years, and more recently, General Counsel, Special Counsel, Director of Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Consultant in law firms practicing throughout New South Wales.

My lengthy experience as both a barrister and commercial litigation solicitor makes me uniquely placed to provide a complete range of litigation and dispute resolution services to clients. It also gives me a dual perspective on a dispute. I provide clients with the best opportunity to achieve a commercial result; whether through negotiation or litigation. I have appeared extensively in all New South Wales first instance and appellate courts and also courts of Federal jurisdiction.

Consulting to law and accounting firms:

Levering off my lengthy experience as a barrister, I am now available to be retained by solicitors and accountants who are after specialist advocacy and advice services, whether for a one-off matter, or more regularly.

I have appeared as a solicitor advocate for, and consulted to, a number of small and medium sized firms since 2012. This is a modern alternative to the traditional mode of retaining a barrister or other specialist, and is in keeping with a more progressive and collaborative approach to law without the old formalities.
